UAE Visa for Turkish Citizens: Visa-Free Entry and Dubai Travel Guide

Turkish passport holders receive a complimentary 90-day visa on arrival when entering the UAE through any port of entry. Turkish citizens who wish to stay in the UAE beyond the initial 90-day visa-free period can apply for a 30-day extension before their entry stamp expires. This brings the maximum possible stay to 120 days on a single entry. The extension can be processed through the ICP Smart Services portal, the GDRFA app, authorised typing centres, or through a service provider like OraVisa. The extension fee is approximately AED 600-900 including processing charges.

For Turkish nationals who need even longer stays — particularly those exploring business or investment opportunities — exiting the UAE and re-entering for a fresh 90-day stamp is a common approach. Popular exit destinations include Oman (accessible via the Hatta border crossing or a short flight to Muscat) and Bahrain. Since there is no mandatory cooling-off period for Turkish citizens, same-day visa runs are possible.

The economic relationship between Turkey and the UAE has undergone a significant transformation in recent years.
